A Sample Personality Essay

We can help your application succeed!  Here’s a sample of our work, written for the popular prompt:

“How did you get caught?  Or not caught, as the case may be.”

Our essay:

When I was in school, I had a gym teacher named Mr. Stevens.  He was our favorite teacher by far; gym class was always interesting and fun, unlike many of the other classes in school.  However, he had one funny quirk—he was always sipping something from a small silver flask in his pocket.  Cody and I made it our goal to get inside his office and find the bottle he was filling the flask from.

One day Cody wadded up some paper and jammed it in the office door’s latch.  While it would feel closed when Mr. Stevens left, it would open with a slight push.  We waited around in the locker room for everyone to leave—as soon as the class was gone we ran to his office and gave the door a push.  It opened!  And right there on the table was a fifth of Jack Daniel’s.  Cody and I grabbed it and hid it in my locker before running to catch up with the class.

We never got a chance to try it.  Mr. Stevens figured out quickly what had happened—he tracked me down in social studies and we went back to the locker room.  “See this?” he said, holding up the bottle.  “I know you’re a kid, and you’re curious, but trust me and wait a few years, okay?”
